The creaking sound of woods in the dock
Serenades you as you waltz thru every step
Forever in gratitude, heart forever locked
Gleam of hopes’ glaring in the deep
When the waves come and take you in
And I know I will miss your warm embrace
Yet I know you’re not sinking in
You’re just illuminating, finishing the race
Stranded in horizon with gratitude
From chrysalis metamorphose into a butterfly
Not afraid of solitude
Now you’re happy and the pain has gone away
